Job Description

The purpose ofComponentPlanning Team is to delight customers with the right components shipped to the right warehouses all the time. We ensure our core capabilities (Operation Mode and Component Planning Processes) and its advantages are utilized by executing production and inventory management in an effective and efficient way.

This role is a hybrid role with 2 focus areas:

1. On Raw Material Planning

  • To order required raw material like Resin & Color Granules from supplier and LEGO plants to make feasible plan for FG production by analysis of tradeoffs and applying lean principles.

  • Root cause analysis and follow up to corrective actions when a shortage of raw material impacts FG production plan

  • Expedite and coordinate special deliveries when needed.

  • Ensure the system updated with the most accurate data.

  • Establish a communication between supplier and global procurement.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels by actively and proactively take decision that avoids the excess and obsolete material.

2. On Analyst role:

  • Establish key dashboard and tools during the start up of the component planning team, leveraging from common framework from other sites.

  • Developing new tools and processes optimizing our supply chain, and it’s ability to become customer driven.

  • Identify future needs for, develop & implement new tools and processes effectively with highest possible validity and reliability and ensuring the desired business impact.

  • Ensure processes are reliable to deliver materials to internal customers areas.

  • Root cause analysis and corrective actions implementation

  • Design and carry out complex ad hoc analysis on capacity needs. Therefore make valid recommendations for business decisions based on complex data analysis.

  • Design, report and ensure compliance on key performance indicators of the area and related.

  • Leading global corrective and improvement project between plants.

  • Lead and promote continuous improvement in the area of planning.

  • Execute yearly/quarterly/monthly processes (eg. Changeover budget/mould classification/tactical planning/monthly budget) as part of component planning processes.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Professional degree in any engineering or related areas, preferably with Masters in Management. (Certifications considered a plus are: CPIM from APICS and Six sigma black belt)

  • Four years inside supply chain working on production and inventory management, logistics, project management and generating solutions for complex situation through heavy deep analyses with an end to end perspective in an international environment.

  • Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Baan, etc.), MS Excel and MS Access, PBI.

  • Programming language for automation like Python will be added advantage.

  • English proficiency
