Job Description

Do you want to be part of the NPI department, with the main responsibility of designing new processes from ideation to handover to production.

Core Responsibilities

  • Reaction to shopfloor escalation linked with processes (Novelties and new equipment) and global sharing

  • Design new and optimize current production processes.

  • Collecting input from production regarding new equipment or products

  • New and current equipment standardization support

  • Test of new packaging materials and products based on R&D projects

  • Platform driver in case of keeping technology standards

  • Bring and collect inputs toward improving productivity, ergonomics, etc.

  • Lead the workshops and meetings to get complex results from tests.

A process engineer is a production process owner with a main focus on designing new processes related to product novelty and maintaining current processes with respect to Quality, Productivity and Simplification.

Actively collaborates with other departments on activities connected to improvements and optimization of equipment.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent)

  • Having at least 4 years experience in NPI process engineering

  • Knowledge of quality and LEAN manufacturing principles

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings

  • Understanding of safety and ergonomic requirements (e.g., the Machine Safety Directive)

  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)

  • Willingness to travel for up to 30 days per year

  • Good spoken and written English
