Job Description

Fire Safety Specialist is a key role as main contact person to external partners for services related to Fire Safety Systems and Programs. And the person also key contact of LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam with Global Risk Management Programwith the optimal goal to maintain the safety and smooth operations of the people, buildings and systems.

Core Responsibilities

  • In charge of facility fire system & related emergency systems’ operation smoothly; act as facility fire expertise and fire team leader, organize fire drill.

  • As window to connect with local fire bureau update new policy timely.

  • In charge of all risk management related activities (e.g. documents\coordination\ process\budget\findings follow up actions and so on); contact person as risk assessment to pass audit.

  • As contact person to contractor of fire system operation and maintenance(IFM partner). Drive and coordinate all fire system related maintenance\improvement activities from each area.

  • Verify IFM partner fire system related KPI, Make control plan for new projects/maintenance etc. , monitor the whole process , highlight if there is any risk impact production , set up work group if needed.

  • Support construction projects (design review/ ongoing track/acceptance /new material qualification before used in and so on).

  • Actively participate project and provide contribution for continuous quality improvement;(e.g. technical monthly meeting\process capability....).

  • Drive fire safety systems project.

  • Other tasks that leader assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor or higher degree preferred in Mechanical/Electrical/Automation Engineering and related.

  • 5 years experience in fire system.

  • Go-do mentality and curiosity to learn.

  • Responsive and willing to take ownership of issues and drive solutions.

  • Lean and continuous improvement.

  • Experience in equipment preventive maintenance.

  • Experience in installing and maintaining fire protection and detection system.

  • Teamwork, proactive, customer-centric, problem-solving skills, contractor and supplier management, and effective communication at all levels of the organization.

  • Familiar with national fire regulations.

  • Guidelines developed in the process of global and local compliance to meet the requirements of fire safety.

  • Familiar with Global FM data sheet.

  • Risk management.

  • Certified fire protection or related training/education.

  • Advanced English.
