We are searching for a dedicated Regional Supply Planning Manager who will bring on your planning hat and act as the guardian of inventory management across the wider network in APAC/China!

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

Within Supply Inventory Planning:

  • Owns the optimization of the Supply and Inventory Planning processes and routines.

  • Provides direction throughout the supply planning process to ensure healthy inventory and coverage levels in line to deliver critical metric targets.

  • Proactively investigate and lead network inventory health.

  • Complete daily/ weekly tasks to ensure inventory flow meets the requirements in the channel

  • Collaboration with Markets, Demand Management, Demand Planning, Distribution and production sites to gain in insights into expected performance and risk situations.

  • Acts as a business partner at all stages of the planning process. Responsible for all communication related to supply risks, interruptions and impacts.

  • Manage activities related to strategic and also tactical planning, inventory control and safety stocks deployment.

  • Seek to understand S&OP direction and ensure that these are actualize into planning output.

  • Monitor and drive performance metrics for measurements such as inventory coverage, stock turn, excess and obsolescence and service metrics.

Ability to work independently with advanced knowledge, tasks are assigned with limited or no explanation:

  • Handling conflicts in negotiation with limited guidance

  • Lead ad-hoc projects or processes

Beyond Supply Inventory Planning Team :

  • Confer with regional and BU to scrutinize forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.

  • Support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.

  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas.

  • Work with regional Demand Management team as partners to review forecasts trending to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

  • Lead and implement new or improved E2E supply chain processes. Initiate department projects that drive continuous improvements in process and capabilities within team and cross functionally throughout the organization.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 8-12 years supply chain planning experience.

  • Strong academic credentials with demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative environment.

  • Data presentation and analysis using data analytic tools like excel/Power BI or Tableau.

  • Experience with planning system like SAP, Kinaxis etc.

  • Concern for impact- Takes action to have an intended or desired effect on others/ Risk mitigation and opportunity sensing.

  • Results orientation- Implement planning routines and ensure line of sight to performance metrics with planning tasks/Takes appropriate action to achieve objectives.

  • Critical Information Seeking- Seeks different options for scenario planning/Gathers key information to diagnose a problem.

  • Thrive and contributes best in a team setting.
