Job Description

We are looking for a Corporate Counsel to join our LCR team. The Legal, Compliance and Risk Management (LCR) team supports operational legal needs within the CEEMEA region

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive and proactively manage IPR Enforcement matters within designated Area of responsibility – CZ/SK as primary focus with possible involvement within other geographies within CEEMEA region with close collaboration with IP Enforcement Global Team and with report to CEEMEA General Counsel

  • Deal with customs seizures and records

  • Take initiative, recognise and act on legal issues related to brand protection

  • Managing external counsels in IP related legal matters

  • Ensuring a high level of compliance in all matters related to IPR, Compliance, GDPR, etc

  • Support knowledge sharing and process optimization within CEEMEA team and contribute to CEEMEA LCR Team

  • Be first contact and deliver IPR Agenda for appropriate business stakeholders

  • Be an integral part of the CEEMEA LCR and become a fully leaned in team member, providing collaboration and knowledge sharing

LCR CEEMEA (Central Eastern Europe Middle East and Africa) is a regional team located in Billund, Prague, Kladno, Nyiregyhaza and Istanbul consisting of a variety of legal positions, aimed at providing legal commercial counselling, operations factory, legal counselling and IP Enforcement Strategies

Do you have what it takes?

  • Global background from inhouse and/or private practice, with relevant IP enforcement expertise

  • Proven track record in brand protection field

  • Proven track-record in negotiations, advisory, matter management and stakeholder management

  • An appetite and ability to learn new skills as well as the willingness to learn and following through on tasks

  • Highly collaborative and curious mentality with a “can do” approach

  • Ability to work in a team of world-class professionals, and perform as unalienable part of the team

  • MIRO, Anaqua, iManage user experience knowledge will be a plus

  • Advanced English language skills are required in both writing and speech
