Core Responsibilities

This role will help implement the future of our manufacturing space by providing credible platform capabilities, encouraging a DevSecOps approach, and supporting the transformation towards a cloud-like experience.

As part of our innovative team provide development, testing and support of systems/platforms. Crafting and performing changes for existing systems/applications/platforms. The role will be instrumental in establishing a DevOps environment with introduction, architecture and adaption of new technologies, applications, and hardware.

  • Database handling/maintaining/optimizing.

  • Git & Azure Devops usage end-to-end, usage of Jira, knowledge of Agile methodology (in operations context).

  • Participate and actively support IT projects and build/maintain documentation.

  • Plan and administrate issues, requests, changes, incidents.

  • Collaborating with Product Teams regarding requests/incidents/projects.

  • We are also migrating SharePoint into Nasuni.

The position is part of the larger Developer Experience and Cloud Foundation area, providing foundational capabilities for our product teams using or migrating to cloud. We are supporting hundreds of LEGO® Engineers, and we are planning to expand. We are guides in Cloud & Containerization in the organization. That is why we are the ones that help product teams adopt Cloud and assist them with creation of a DevSecOps experience.

The landing zone spans multiple clouds and Edge and runs some of our most critical workloads. We are seeing growth of the platform and are looking to shift gears to deliver the best multi-cloud experience for our brave engineering colleagues.

This position is based at our major factory site in Nyíregyháza, Hungary, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment.

Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for a preferred candidate with experience in providing System Administration, process automation, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge about monitoring systems, multiplatform handling. Knowledge/experience with Config management (Salt), monitoring, and implementation of automation solutions.

Significant experience in operating servers/cloud platforms regarding deployment and patching (on-prem, hybrid, Azure, AWS, etc.). And a strong OS knowledge (Win, Linux). Perhaps knowledge with hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.

To succeed in this role, you preferably have competence within the following:

  • Degree in computer science and a few years of experience.

  • Experience in agile ways of working.

  • Dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with technology trends.

  • Being a strong ambassador for the team and New Products.

Advanced English both written and verbally are needed since we are working closely with the rest of the LEGO Group WW.
