Core Responsibilities

In this role, your strategic responsibilities would be:

  • Leading global Operational Technology (OT) projects in order to improve the current manufacturing processes and results via automation.

  • Supporting the development and delivery of the OT solutions (Robotics, Automation, Vision, sensors, Performance Control Tower, HMI) in the business as well as global and local Operational Technology activities.

  • Supporting the global sustainability agenda with Operational Technology knowledge.

  • Identifying improvement opportunities and driving the transformational journey of new ways of working.

  • Crafting collaborative culture across functions, making the agenda clear to all parties concerned.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in Project management/Lean/OPEX/CI implementation experience in the Automation/manufacturing/research & development/engineering environment

  • Strong Operational Technology/Automation/Robotics experience and interest, a deep understanding and are a passionate advocate for modern (software) engineering practices and can operate both strategically and in a hands-on fashion.

  • Knowledge and experience with AGILE, SCRUM and working with a product-oriented attitude delivering with iterative sprints (with the ability to combine agile vs waterfall methodologies).

  • Proficient in communication: adapt at conveying ideas effectively through both spoken and written means, ensuring clarity, precision, and directness

  • Knowledge of software development & testing method is a plus
