Job Description

A&D on the shop floor is key player for bringing the LEGO bricks in hands of the kids. Join us in making innovative automation solutions under the Industry 4.0 umbrella.

As an IT/OT integration specialist you will bridge the gap between the engineering function and the employees working within our factories shop floor, focusing on improving the packaging processes and shipping of our products but also working with engineering to improve order flow and sending and receiving data.

You will be responsible for leading, running or performing the engineering operations of the organization. Activities include crafting, constructing, testing and operating equipment; ensuring standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met in production processes; interpreting plans, drawings and specifications; providing technical support to the organization's sales force for technical product sales; and industry-specific engineering activities.

You will support our team by:

  • Ensure Cyber-secure integration of IT and OT related task related to a balanced Materials Program, where new production lines need to be optimized

  • Provides IT knowledge to ensure innovative architecture for a digital future.

  • Identify and collect continuous improvement for enhanced efficiency, usability and serviceability.

  • Provides technical mentorship for automation and IT architecture for development and design of automation/software for equipment in collaboration with suppliers and mechanical designers.

  • Support collaboration development of multi-functional team.

  • Actively engage in partner and customer management during and after the ramp up phase of new automation equipment.

Do you have the determination?

  • 6+ years in industrial automation area with IT related tasks.

  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or B&R PLC system installation/ troubleshooting experience (development, design and PLC-programming).

  • Experience in Ethernet/IP and/or OPC UA.

  • Proficient English, working across time zones and with multicultural teams.

  • Knowledgeable about new technologies and innovative consumer trends.

  • Previous experience working with SAP

  • Takes initiative, recognizes and acts on opportunities

  • Phenomenal teammate and understanding of multi cultural environment.

  • Ability to see opportunities and challenge with comprehensive view.

  • Basic IT bridge building competences as: Experience with DevOps principles like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

  • Experience with APIs (ReST, OData).

  • Willingness to travel 10-30 days / year.
