This role offers a dynamic blend of hands-on financial management and high-impact project involvement, allowing you to drive efficiency and innovation across our retail operations while participating in transformative global initiatives!

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee the control and analysis of the P&L to enhance short-term transparency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include managing financial processes such as month-end close, general ledger reconciliation, master data setup, monthly reporting, and forecasting. Additionally, you will:

  • Cooperate with Model Production Finance Lead on longer-term planning such as the annual P&L estimate process

  • Ensure strong governance and controls for The Model Production business, including providing guidance on master data set up, supporting yearly audit process (Inventory, Fixed Assets) and ensuring broader controls are efficient and effective

  • Offer strategic financial guidance on investments and cost-saving initiatives

  • Build transparency of key P&L drivers to enable better decisions and identify potential opportunities or risks

  • Support broader Model Production organisation with financial advice, ad hoc analysis and presentations

  • Actively drive and inspire change

LEGO Retail Model Production operates across the full value chain to deliver brick-based solutions for marketing purposes, internally in our company as well as externally with the Merlin Entertainment Group and others. The role supports three key objectives: commercial objectives, the productivity savings initiatives and the financial and tax compliance.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience working in Finance in global organisation

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles for financial analysis & controlling purposes

  • Proficient in Excel and SAP

  • Robust financial business partnering capabilities

  • Analytical brainpower with strong E2E business understanding

  • Can do attitude, proactively looking for opportunities to support the business

  • Fluent in English, both written and oral, Czech is an advantage

  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English (both verbal and written) and ability to articulate complex issues into simple language

  • Experience working with global projects and change management

  • Previous FP&A experience would be a plus
