The Inventory Manager facilitates the successful execution of The LEGO Group’s shipment plan with its U.S. retailer partners.
As the driver of a key business to business function, the Inventory Manager is a hub for communication, business strategy, and tactical execution. As a result, the role delivers a broad range of developmental experiences and offers a high degree of contact with both internal management and external customers. The Inventory Manager has direct customer call point responsibilities and provides a great opportunity to deliver quality service to The LEGO Group’s U.S. retailer partners. Within The LEGO Group, the Inventory Manager collaborates with many stakeholder functions, including U.S. Key Accounts, U.S. Forecasting, Americas Allocation and Americas Order Management. This role directly impacts weekly business execution and business results.
A vital role delivering on strategy and customer satisfaction
•Support the LEGO Customer Value Proposition by driving Business to Business alignment on forecasts and orders needed to improve retailer in-stocks, fill rates, and inventory efficiency
•Facilitate forecast and replenishment order alignment with retailers
•Guide retailer replenishment strategy and execution
•Recommend actions to limit markdown exposure for exiting items
•Execute shipment plans for new product launches and trade promotions
•Collaborate across internal and external functions to resolve operational challenges

The U.S. Market Operations team is responsible for forecasting consumer sales and shipments for the U.S. market, leading weekly business execution, and delivering quality service to The LEGO Group’s retailer partners.
What we’re looking for
•A Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, plus a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in supply chain, replenishment, key account management or forecasting
•Candidates must have B2B experience, strong influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to identify and develop data-driven solutions that benefit multiple stakeholders
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to generate actionable insights from data using data analysis tools like MS Excel and / or MS Access
•Ability to communicate insights and supporting data to influence strategy
•Strong understanding of retail math (cost of goods, initial mark up, gross margin $, gross margin %, etc.)
•Independent problem solving and decision-making skills
