Play your part in our team succeeding

As an Item Set Up Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales teams to set up our products in customer databases. In this role, you will be responsible for managing product data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across multiple channels and systems. As a subject matter expert, you will support the Director of Content and Merchandising to ensure ISU actively contributes to the overall content strategy of the team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of products with constant innovation, ensuring timely and accurate setup of new items in our customer databases.

  • Connect with Sales Teams, customers and vendors as needed to capture product data and align on the best method and timing to set up items.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to a team of Item Set Up Analysts. Serve as a team lead to guarantee alignment and precision with the established framework

  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices for product information management. This includes conducting regular audits, identifying areas of improvement, and overseeing data enrichment and data cleansing initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Digital Merchandisers and Sales to oversee data enrichment processes to enhance product listings and improve customer experience.

  • Proactively identify and resolve technical obstacles, bottlenecks, and system issues that may impact the configuration process or data quality.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning within the team and promoting agile best practices/principles.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or relevant job experience

  • 5+ years experience in item set up function or similar data management field

  • SAP proficient

  • Experience using content syndication platforms such as Salsify, Syndigo, 1WorldSync or alike tools

  • Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices, including data governance, data modeling, and data quality management

  • Experience in customizing and extending PIM systems using APIs, data scripting, or custom development

  • Experience managing digital assets and e-commerce applications is preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

  • Boston office based position; minimum commutable days to office is 3 days per week.

The salary for this position has a range of 97,494 to 146,242 annual based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The definitive compensation may vary in alignment with the selected candidate’s professional background, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
