This is an exciting opportunity to help orchestrate and support financial insights that improves financial certainty and efficiency of teams throughout a digital area.

Core Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will:

  • Support, challenge and enhance the budgeting and forecasting process in product teams.

  • Support and maintain ‘budget trackers’ of various expenses.

  • Help product teams in getting a deeper financial knowledge of their cost drivers.

  • Ensure strong collaboration and support a feedback culture between finance colleagues and Tech Ops to improve financial planning, financial skills and toolkits.

  • Provide and support with procurement related process know-how and manage various ad hoc tasks in relation to the above.

Play your part in our team succeeding

You will be part of our Tech Ops specialist team that focusses on Hardware and Network IT Asset Management team within our Infrastructure organization. Our team currently consists of 7 employees, and we support and collaborate closely with various technical product teams, covering network and hardware. Your role will bring in a new group of partners including Cloud computing and platform technologies.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely together with the product teams and their leads while having the close connection with your department and other Tech Ops specialists depending on the task at hand.

In the Tech Ops team, we have an open, collaborative, easy-going, and fun atmosphere. We are a diverse group of people who have a high degree of professionalism, and we always strive to deliver high quality results, but we also love to send GIF’s, crack jokes and drink coffee at the Barista.

Spoiler: We have three baristas at LEGO Campus and coffee is free!

Do you have what it takes?

You could come from multiple backgrounds, e.g. a role in Finance Management or IT Project Management or alike.

Knowledge of Procurement, IT Purchasing and IT Asset Management or equivalent is an advantage.

The most important for us is that you:

  • Have demonstrated experience within optimizing/supporting finance operations in a business line or projects.

  • Can show us what good looks like when driving and implementing budgeting and forecast processes, principles and improvements.

  • Have experience bridging finance and IT teams to ensure a structured and efficient setup.

  • Easily build strong relations with people across different functions and levels, internally and externally if needed.

  • Are curious, positive, and eager to learn and can challenge ways of working.
