Job Description

Are you a software engineer on the lookout for a growth possibility in a value oriented and agile environment – and take pride in your findings and solutions?

We are looking for a senior software engineer to join a team looking to extract value from our integrations with various retail partners.

You will collaborate with the product organization and other engineers to develop services for integration with our retail partners.

Core Responsibilities

  • Use your extensive software engineering experience to guide the team when architecting and implementing solutions

  • Be instrumental in establishing the technical stack and direction for the product

  • Act as a day-to-day mentor for other developers on the team and help ensure that the team shows healthy software engineering practices such as code reviews, clean code, suitable test coverage, secure coding among other things

  • Solid experience exposing and integrating with backend services of various kind using REST and/or GraphQL

  • Build cloud infrastructure using IaC

  • Build CI/CD workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions

Play your part in our team succeeding

You will join a growing product team supporting the data integration processes for the LEGO Group’s B2B customers. Together with the team you will be responsible for developing and running the backend and frontend systems for integration the LEGO Group’s systems with our customer’s systems.

You will also be part of the bigger Partner & Markets area that is responsible for a broader range of solutions facing our partners and the LEGO® sales organization. We are organized in autonomous product teams working agile with end-to-end responsibility for our products, and we work together with the teams that drive the Business to Business strategy and its execution for the LEGO Group

The team is based at the brand-new LEGO Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Several years of experience in the field working with software development, preferably using modern methodologies and technologies

  • Experience with both backend and frontend software development

  • Strong curiosity about developing and encouraging others

  • Shown eagerness to continuous learning through your previous experiences

  • Dare to speak up and learn from the failures

  • Grow with both experimentations and the long haul

  • Experience leading engineering initiatives

Advanced English both written and verbal would be a requirement as we are an internationally gathered team.
