Project Manager to strengthen global planning

Do you have an eye for process optimisation, flair for sell-in and an urge to seek out conversation?

In this new role, you will help strengthen collaboration and ensure that new LEGO® play experiences are presented in the best way possible at showrooms and toy fairs across the world.

Optimise our planning function and drive our sell-in platform

In Design Functions, Technology & Operations, you will join our Model & Element Planning team, consisting of 3 smaller teams. We ensure that all new LEGO® play experiences, developed by our novelty project teams, are produced and presented to our global markets, either at our 20+ global LEGO showrooms or external toy fairs.

But we want to be even better at responding to the needs of our global markets. And that is why we encourage you to take up this new role, supporting the Manager for Model & Element Planning and acting as single point of contact for the novelty project teams on the one hand and the global markets on the other. Doing so, you ensure efficient and responsive planning of the production and promotion of new LEGO experiences.

Your first task will be to optimise collaboration internally between the 3 planning teams as well as externally towards all stakeholders. This involves defining new processes that allow us to be innovative and responsive in the way we serve our markets. Furthermore, you will be a key player in coordinating the presentation of new LEGO experiences across global showrooms and toy fairs to ensure successful sell-in.

The way we develop and market our products is evolving, so you must expect and thrive in an organisation where processes and roles are not constant.

Join our connected community

This job is all about collaboration and communication. Besides strengthening the teamwork between your 8 highly professional planner colleagues, you will be a trusted partner for our novelty project teams and internal customers located at the global markets. This is a unique opportunity to build a solid network across our global LEGO community and get rare insights into LEGO experiences of the future.

Professional networker with commercial flair

Many roads can lead to this position – you might have experience as a project manager, a consultant, an event planner, a planogrammer or perhaps as a key account manager? Regardless, we imagine that you have:

  • Strong project management and planning skills

  • Retail experience and a solid understanding of sell-in, so you can collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues present in the markets

  • Experience with continuous improvement/lean, and it comes natural to you to spot process optimisation opportunities

  • Excellent communication skills in English in both speech and writing, and you enjoy engaging with colleagues across cultures and functions

Bringing it to life

“Reaching out to people across our organisation and strengthening dialogue will be the key to success in this job. Doing so, you will make sure that new worlds of imagination come to life across our global markets every day,” says Jette Midtgaard Mouritzen, Manager, Model & Element Planning.

Join the global LEGO® family

In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment. We look forward to receiving your application. Please remember to attach your cover letter and a current CV in English.
