Core Responsibilities

  • Identifyopportunitiesand solutionsfor even stronger focus on privacy related to how we process employee dataglobally

  • Supportour People, Places and Culture team (HR) to continuouslycomply withexisting and new data privacyregulation

  • Handle personal data breaches related to employeedata

  • Update existingand draft new policies related to processing of employee personal data, including the global employee privacynotice and local appendices

  • Work with other teams to structure and improve howdata subject access requests are responded toand map differences betweencountries

  • Drive other parts of the global privacy agenda as a member of the Privacy Office, reporting to the LEGO Group’s Data Protection Officer

The LEGO Group has offices in more than 40 countries around the world andprocessespersonal data on employees in all these countries.Privacy is one of the fastest growing legal disciplines globally, and we need to ensure that we continue tocomply withapplicable laws. As part of the LEGO Group’s Privacy Office, you will play ameaningful role in securing privacy compliance, especially related to employee personal data!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Considerable experience within the field of privacy law and compliance, preferably working in a multinationalorganization

  • Proven experience and excellent understanding ofGDPR–additionalexperience with other privacy lawsis aplus

  • Effective collaboration skills, working in an international environment and making a positive impact together with a variety ofpartners

  • Ability to understand and learn the core business ambitions and strategies that allows you toproviderelevant privacy guidance on a local and globalbasis

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English –proficiencyin other languages is aplus

  • Ability toidentifyand gain efficiencies by creating or improvingprocesses

Please note that relocation support is not offered for this role.
