We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our LEGO Design Talent Pool as Interactive Play Designers. In this role, your digital ability is crucial in shaping the future of LEGO play experiences.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Developing prototypes to test and refine engaging play experiences.

  • Engaging in the entire design process, including creating interactive prototypes

  • Collaborating efficiently with teams, managing tasks and time effectively.

  • Contributing new concepts informed by LEGO system-in-play, market insights, and experience.

  • Participating in brainstorming and workshops for idea generation.

  • Designing with various constraints in mind, such as budget, business goals, and technology.

  • Supporting innovation in interactive play for both new and existing products.

You will join the LEGO® Interaction Design Team in Billund, Denmark. We are a team of passionate designers, who are working across a broad number of projects including digital/physical products. You will have the opportunity to turn your ideas and concepts into concrete solutions which will impact kids around the globe. We strive to build awesome, usable, accessible, and engaging play experiences.

Drive and support interactive play innovation for both new product experiences in development and for existing products already live in the market by working closely together with model designers, marketeers, app developers and more. 

Join our team to craft inspiring interactive play experiences for a global audience. In this role, you will be integral in bridging physical and digital design, from first concepts to finished designs.

Qualifications:

To be part of our Talent Pool, we're looking for individuals with:

  • A background in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, UX, Computer Science, Game Design, or related fields.

  • At least 3 years of experience in designing connected toys/play experiences.

  • A proven record in design, testing, and validation through iterative prototyping.

  • A systematic approach to design, with the ability to prioritize according to business needs.

  • Experience in taking designs from concept to product launch.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and visually.

  • Prior experience with children's or young adult products is beneficial.
