Core Responsibilities

  • Drives and develops Building Management System projects and commissioning in collaboration with colleagues at factories globally.

  • Development of BMS and commissioning projects at factories worldwide, including partner engagement, preparation of Business Cases and project approvals internally within the organization.

  • Drive BMS management for ongoing projects including timelines, progress,economyand resources.

  • Integrate Building Management Systems (BMS) into energy and water savings initiatives across our factories worldwide.

  • Support all sites with knowledge and project support in relation to ownexpertise.

  • Support discovery ofnew technologiesand solutions to be implemented in LEGO’s standards and projects.

Engineering & Digitalization is part of Global Workplace Projects where we have the ownership oflarge scaleconstruction projects and other utility related projects. Weare owningthe technical aspects e.g., supply concepts, MEP subject areas, building management systems and fire safety. We develop,maintainand innovate our global standards and apply them inthe projectsworldwide.

The team consists of 30+ people (mainly engineers), with a broad diversity in functional fields and experience. They support both operation and projects at all sites. As BMS Engineering Specialist you will be part of a small sub-team of 3, support the bestpracticesolutions within renewable energy and energy savings are implemented, at the factories across the globe,in accordance withthe LEGO Group’s promises.

Do you have what it takes?

The right candidate comes withgood communication, backed up with analytical and tactical skills, enabling you to build strong connections with internal and external partners. You are curious to explore new areas like sustainability and digitalization and bring:

  • Experience with theoretical and/or practical knowledge in Building Management Systems and Project management including timelines and budgets.

  • Partner engagement both internally and externally andpreviousexperience from a global organization (e.g.university or employment) working across cultures and countries.

  • Familiarity with practices in design and installations.

  • Elaborate written presentations ata high levelfor distribution across the organization.

  • Travel days of 20-40 daysin a year is expected.
